Sarthak Pradhan is an assistant professor at the Takshashila Institution. He teaches economic reasoning, researches public finance and conducts tutorials on government budgets. Before his foray into the public policy space, he was a faculty and content consultant for Edu-tech startups. He has also worked as a senior software engineer with the Samsung R&D Institute.

Deputy Director
Pranay Kotasthane is deputy director of the Takshashila Institution and chairs the High Tech Geopolitics Programme. Pranay cowrites Anticipating the Unintended, a newsletter on public policy ideas and frameworks and cohosts Puliyabaazi, a popular Hindi-Urdu podcast on politics and policy and technology. He has coedited India’s Marathon: Reshaping the Post-Pandemic World Order. He’s the co-author of the public policy bestseller Missing in Action: Why You Should Care About Public Policy (2023), When the Chips are Down: A Deep Dive into a Global Crisis (2023) and We, The Citizens: Strengthening the Indian Republic (2024). Before joining Takshashila, he had stints with two Fortune 500 companies working on integrated circuit design for mobile processors.
